Mr. G.J.P.N. Murthy has assumed role of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mahanagar LNG Private Limited effective from 26th December 2023. He is responsible for the development of LNG Eco System in India for assisting long haul automotive industry in adoption of cleaner fuel. He joined Mahanagar Gas Limited in April 2012. He has handled the activities setting up of PNG, CNG and steel grid infrastructure in Mahanagar Gas Limited for past 11 years and delivered more than 3 Lakh domestic Connectivity in FY 22-23 which was highest ever achievement by MGL since inception. Prior to joining us, he was working with L&T in hydrocarbon sector. He holds a bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Chaitanya Bharathi Engineering College, Hyderabad. He also holds Diploma in Civil Engineering from SMVM Polytechnic, Tanuku, Andhra Pradesh. He is member in American Society for Mechanical Engineers (ASME) B31.8 India International Working Group (IWG) and in ASME Pipeline Systems Division (PSD), India. He received best paper award in 2nd International Conference & Exhibition on Pipeline Integrity Management (ICEPIM) 2016. Mr. G.J.P.N. Murthy has received Lakshya Star Performer & certificate of appreciation for outstanding performance and invaluable contribution to Project Lakshya and MGL as initiative Owner in FY 2023-24. He has more than three decades of experience in Project Management of Oil & Gas, LPG, water pipelines, refinery, civil infrastructure projects & bridges etc.,
